DIY Sugar Scrub

My friend asked me today to make her a sugar scrub with oils in it. Sugar scrubs were new territory for me but I said yes anyway.

I was shocked at how easy they are to make. It took me less than 5 minutes start to finish.

I mixed the ingredients by hand and I can already tell a difference in how soft my hands are now!

This recipe makes enough for a miniature mason jar.

In a medium bowl mix together

4 heaping tablespoons of sugar (raw sugar if you want a more invigorating scrub)

1 heaping tablespoon of coconut oil

It is going to look like the proportions are off but as the coconut oil softens it will become a sludge type mixture which is correct

Add in 2-3 drops of essential oil. I used peppermint but it can be any oil you like!

Mix the oil in and then transfer to the mason jar.

Voila! So simple!
